Prior to forming this company, the Principal, Nigel Clark had been involved in all aspects of general real estate since 1976. Initially in a general real estate office, then as the Marketing Manager of a large subdivision in Brisbane’s Western suburbs. From there Nigel had made a name for himself and was head hunted to set up the sales and marketing division of the Kern Corporation’s introduction to residential housing in South East Queensland. In less than a year, Kern Homes became the number two house builder to AV Jennings. Because of the necessity to be in Hong Kong, a centrally based company was set up there in early 1987. Very quickly the company soon became one of the leading agents in selling Australian properties in Hong Kong and other parts of South East Asia. Our developers list was second to none and included AV Jennings, Mirvac (Qld), Peter Kurts Ltd, Forrester Parker, Stockland Trust, Imagemaster and Leda Holdings as exclusive agents in Hong Kong, Taiwan and often Singapore. In June 1996, the company moved it`s office in Central, Ice House Street, and purchased Noosa Coast and Country Properties and Holiday Noosa located in Noosa`s Hastings Street, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Back in Australia, the developer base grew on our successes and often we act on projects exclusively in South East Asia for companies such as Indigo Projects, Forrester Kurts, Mirvac, Noosa Springs, Q.M. Properties at Noosa Waters and Villaworld, just to mention a few. The Principal, Nigel Clark, holds three Queensland real estate licences and is a member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong Macau , Shanghai and ANZ Cham in Singapore and Manila. Additionally he holds a permanent identity card for the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong, with a company also registered in Hong Kong. Exhibitions are regularly held in Hong Kong, normally at Austcham with their superb purpose built affordable facilities located in the heart of Central. Other exhibitions are held in Singapore, Manila, Dubai , United Kingdom, and Shanghai. Dubai, is a worry with probably the world`s biggest down turn in an over inflated economy, that will take years to come back. We have not been back to Dubai for 3 years. In 2006, we first exhibited in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and have also held 5 exhibitions in Dubai. 2008 was a similar pattern of exhibiting and our list of top developers grows. Tough years in 2009 and 2010 2011,and in the last quarter of 2010 and the first nine months of 2011 a rising and strengthening of the AUD.
